death is free

so we broke into an old industrial site and snuck up behind the guard. he was leaned back in an old green leather chair staring at a porno magazine with his feet on a derelict office desk. cody says, "watch this," as he picks up an old piece of flexible wire off of the floor and tip toes up behind the guard and deftly slips the wire snugly over the guards neck

the poor guys feet shoot out straight and begin kicking against the desktop. i just kinda looked dumbly at him. didn't know what else to do it happened so quickly. his arms are flailing madly, trying to reach behind him, and cody had this concerned smile across his face, and he licks his lips just as one of this guys eyes pops out of the socket and drops across his cheek before being jerked haltingly on its long red ropey end and then swings like a pendulum as a big blue tongue flops out of a wide open mouth. his arms finally fall silent against the chair sides with a muted thud

theres a certain hum in the air, this electricity thats giving me gooseflesh. "lets capture some images," cody says as he drops the wire and steps away from the chair. the guards body tilts back on the sweaty green leather then topples off to one side.
Cody picks up his polaroid camera and his eyes shine like diamonds.

"good thing i brought a hacksaw," he says after we've taken the above images. i shudder when i understand what he means. "things left undone have a way of returning unexpectedly."
after a while i wiped the sweat from my brow and stood back to admire what we had accomplished
