dont go chasin' waterfalls, a 3rd in a series of informity

Puerto Rico has the only rainforest in the US National Park Service. I think. Anyway, El Yunque is great. It abounds with hair raising cliffside roads with tiny barriers, waterfalls, lizards and parrots, which i heard some old canadian lady remark to her tour group of 50+ year olds "...has only the red tail hawk as a natural predator, so let's watch for both.." Fucking brilliant.

And speaking completely off topic but about the linguistics of culture-   http://www.japansubculture.com/2012/01/its-no-ordinary-sale-its-a-fuckin-sale/
and now, back to the images:

second! in a series of informative imagining

some of my favorite parts of Puerto Rico:

1. going into walgreens to buy rum, and finding that they sell fireworks also.
2. drinking whatever you want out of a fresh coconut.
3. iguanas. there's something good about being reminded these prehistoric beasts are still around.
4. chicharitos.
5. only 75 cents to ride the bus, or arguing that you have no change and riding for free.
6. drinking on a beach. or just sitting on a beach. just, beach.
7. big asses.

dont forget to vote IMPERIALIST on Nov. 3

Puerto Rico! first in an informative series of posts...

"...there will come a time when the poor will have only the rich to eat..."

i have no memory of seeing fireworks the first evening i arrived in PR. but, days later i found images of them on my camera and asked marianna about them. "oh yeah, we thought they were gunshots so we went outside to see..."

graffiti is everywhere-
